Terms & Agreements
The first lesson is a free trial lesson and cancellation is possible at anytime. We will not collect credit card or payment information until the second lesson.
Tuition and Payment:
When signing up for Music Lessons, you agree to the tuition payment (plus a 3% credit card fee) to be automatically processed at the beginning of each month. If a student starts mid-month, the first payment will be prorated to cover the cost of the remaining lessons in that month after the free trial lesson.
A valid credit or debit card is required for enrollment and must remain on file for automatic billing. However, we offer ACH bank transfer billing, which allows us to waive the 3% processing fee (i.e., 0% fee) on your monthly tuition.
Should the student cancel lessons in the middle of the month, a refund for the remaining lessons in the month will not be provided.
Lesson Structure and Scheduling:
Tuition is a flat monthly rate. This rate is based on a yearly average of 4 lessons per month. To account for months that naturally have five weeks, we structure the schedule to deliver 12 lessons every 3 months (a season), with one scheduled week off in each season: Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, Spring Break, and 4th of July. This guarantees consistency and a fair lesson count without unpredictable monthly charges.
Attendance and Cancellation:
Please note that we do not offer monetary refunds or credits for student absences. Tuition is paid to reserve the student's spot, regardless of attendance. If a student misses a lesson, we will make every effort to find a make-up spot in the schedule, but a make-up time cannot be guaranteed.
In the event the instructor must cancel a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, natural disaster, etc.), we will provide alternative arrangements, such as rescheduling the lesson or issuing a prorated tuition credit.
